Heather Hill Bed and Breakfast

Autumn at Heather Hill 28-Sep-2006 21:16:18 Maybe your summer schedule will allow you a little time to consider an evening or a weekend stay at a bed and breakfast. If so, we would like to extend an invitation to visit with us at Heather Hill. There are many ways you may spend your time at our inn. You may lounge on our large brick patio next to our water garden and Koi fish pond. This is a wonderful spot to listen to the soothing sounds of the waterfalls and fountain while enjoying a favorite book or magazine. Perhaps you just want to simply relax and daydream while watching the nearby birds and butterflies. Birdhouses of all shapes and sizes can be spotted throughout the surrounding grounds. After a stressful week of work, consider our gazebo enclosed hot tub as another favorite spot to relax and unwind. There are also four screened-in porches to lounge on. A warm summer evening is a great time to join us as we explore the night sky for planets or other celestial objects. Guests may also stroll the grounds and visit the flower and herb gardens. If you are looking for a little exercise, we suggest you take a walk on our trails through our 175 acre nature preserve. All sorts of wildlife can be spotted along these trails, especially songbirds and deer. Lately, several spotted fawn have been seen and guests have reported seeing a hen turkey and her young. Join us this summer on the courtyard around the chimenia or open fire pit for simple conversation as stories and adventures are shared with other guests. Also, you may want to check out our list of "Activities" and "Nearby Points of Interest" located on the home page of our web site. WE also have menues to some of our nearby finer restaurants. Please fell free to call at 724 789 7911 if you have any questions.
